@Outrider42 The wiimote is more flexible that way. It can be an object like a tennis racket. They probably learned from the Powerglove what NOT to do with motion controls. Kinect is probably more like the technology the Powerglove was attempting to do, except for the finger gestures. I don't think it is sensitive enough to detect each separate finger.

Hmmm. . . yeah . . .the Wii controller does sort of function like the powerglove with is 3D motion sensor capability . . . but it is still something you handle in your hand and not wear it. Perhaps that is the point - they decided that wearing the damn thing is not necessary
